Following UFC 123 we learned that the victorious BJ Penn would clash with perennial welterweight contender Jon Fitch at UFC 127. We also received the announcement that fellow UFC 123 victor George Sotiropoulos would meet with dangerous striker Dennis Siver on the same card.

Now we?re receiving word that a clash between rugged middleweight?s Michael Bisping and Jorge Rivera will also take place at UFC 127, a card that is shaping up to look absolutely outstanding.

Bisping sports an overall record of 20-3, and is currently riding a two fight win streak. He last competed at UFC 120, where he earned a unanimous decision victory over Yoshihiro Akiyama.

Rivera on the other hand totes a professional record of 19-7, he?s put together three consecutive wins inside the octagon, including stoppage victories over Nate Quarry and Rob Kimmons.

It?s uncertain just who will headline the card, which takes place in Sydney, Australia on February 27th. There?s certainly no shortage of marquee match-ups, and we?ve only got three bouts officially booked thus far!
