Clementi In For Davis At Titan FC 16

<B>By MATT MOLGAARD<BR> MMANEWS.COM Staff Writer</B><BR><BR> Yesterday we announced that lightweight L.C. Davis had withdrawn from his scheduled January 28th Titan Fighting Championships appearance. Now, thanks to the wonderful world of twitter, we?re learning that Titan brass have found a new, quite capable fighter to fill Davis? shoes.<BR><BR> Extremely experienced UFC veteran Rich Clementi will take to the cage and replace Davis, as he clashes with Aaron Derrow in what is now a welterweight contest.<BR><BR> Clementi boasts a professional record of 39-17-1, while Derrow brings much less experience into the cage, having only fought six times ? finding victory in four of those six appearances.<BR><BR> In a release from Titan, CEO Joe Kelly had the following to say, ?I was heartbroken to hear about L.C.?s injury because I know how much it meant to him to be able to come back to Kansas City and compete in front of his friends and family. However, we really feel good about being able to secure a fighter the stature of Rich Clementi on such short notice.?<BR><BR>
